I get it. You knew life was going to be hard, but this feels like you must be doing something wrong.
You’re exhausted and your brain won’t stop. You’re replaying conversations from three days ago, snapping at your partner and children over something small, and crying in the car on the way home from a grocery run without really knowing why.
It feels like your reactions are bigger than the moment, your patience runs out faster than it should, and the version of yourself you want to be feels just out of reach.
This isn’t you falling apart, it’s you burning out.
That’s where I come in.

I’m a therapist who specializes in OCD and trauma who has experienced it myself.
In adulthood, I found myself completely unable to turn my brain off. It felt like I was going crazy. I didn’t think of myself as anxious, I thought I just knew the right way to do things. I was short or snappy with my family, friends, and coworkers. It felt like anger I was trying to stuff down and keep from coming out. That was just the tip of the iceberg. Trauma therapy wasn’t helping, so I stopped.
The worst of it started one summer when I was flooded with intrusive images of my own death. I couldn’t explain it and couldn’t escape. I was terrified and had no idea what was happening to me.
It was a journey that included me learning more about OCD. That’s what was happening, not just trauma stuff.
That experience changed everything about how I practice. Because I realized that rumination can be both a trauma and OCD symptom. Just as anger, anxiety, and replaying are symptoms of both. Intrusive, scary thoughts that feel like something you should never say out loud held me hostage until I learned what was going on. And found help to calm my brain.
You don’t have to figure this out alone. And you don’t have to keep being afraid of your own brain.
45 – 55 minute sessions
📣 Paging all of those white knuckling it through the day.
In our sessions we slow things down. We look at what’s actually driving the replaying, the ruminating, the snapping, the reactions that feel bigger than the moment. Then we build real tools to change it.
This isn’t basic coping skills therapy. When it comes to OCD especially, I go deeper. I’ll teach you why your brain works the way it does and how to work with it instead of against it. You’ll leave sessions with actual strategies, not just homework to breathe more.
I’m not bashing traditional coping skills, there is a time and a place for them. And I know when you need more than the traditional stuff.
I’ll bring honesty, warmth, and a deep understanding of what it’s like to be in your shoes.
You bring the willingness to do the work.
That’s all it takes to start feeling like yourself again.
You don’t have to keep white-knuckling it, replaying everything, or wondering why you can’t just feel better already.
You deserve more than survival mode, and the right support can actually get you there.
I’m not just your therapist. I’m someone who’s been in that exact place and found a way through. I’ll bring the honesty, the tools, and a space where nothing you say will shock or overwhelm me.
You bring yourself. That’s enough to start.

Before scheduling a therapy session, I do a free 15 minute consultation call with all potential new clients. This gives us the chance to get to know each other. Here’s what you can expect:
I’ll ask you about why you’re seeking therapy
I’ll tell you a bit about myself and my approach as a therapist
You can ask me any questions that I didn’t cover
We’ll talk about rates, insurance, availability, etc.
For 1:1 recurring therapy, I meet with the majority of my clients on a weekly basis. I ask that all new clients commit to meeting weekly, for at least the first 6 weeks. This will allow us to start off on a strong foot, so you can start seeing progress right away.
I may recommend that we increase or decrease the frequency of sessions to best meet your needs.
For 1:1 therapy intensives, these are individually assessed.
